The Paper Tree is a new online journal combining fiction, poetry, art and photography, published in Oxford, UK by Elou Carroll. It hopes to one day grow into fully-fledged print journal but that is a dream for the future.
Its leaves are lined with stories, poems, pictures and magic. Home to whimsy, The Paper Tree sits somewhere between light and dark, fact and fancy. Up through its trunk beats a creative pulse; its roots are hooked in the imaginations of those who look upon it.
The Paper Tree is covered in the scrawlings and drawings of past visitors. It invites you to look, to climb up into its branches and leave your own mark; to chatter with the chaffinches, the sparrows and listen to the gloomy jackdaw who sits at the top.
Come join the birds; come sit in The Paper Tree.
