In recent year, the American public began to more and more concern the injustice of gun violence in United States.

On June 12, 2016, a mass shooting was happened in a pay bar named Pulse in Orlando, Florida. The deadliest shooting rampage killed 49 people and injured 44 people. On July 7, 2016, another gun violence happened in the north city of Dallas, Texas. This gun violence left 5 policemen dead and 6 policemen injured. In less than a month, there were two terrible accident of gun violence in United States.

The most important ongoing efforts of solving gun violence in United States is the Gun Control legislation. Only when guns is reasonable control, the tragedies of gun violence can be avoided. The most obstacle of this effort is the Congress and the congressmen who oppose gun control legislation. The gun control legislation would be a long run.
There are many other solutions of prevention on gun violence. For example, the plan of self-protection for children, buying back guns, Project Exile, Project Safe Neighborhoods and Operation Ceasefire are solutions in many specific area.
What else needs to be done
New York quickly move the amendments of gun control, and actively enlist the support of the New York Republication. At least, the gun control laws are passed in New York. The success in New York is the first step to control gun. In the future, more and more states in United States will pass the gun control laws.
